There was big news on the global supply of oil last week. Exxon Mobil and other oil giants publicly admitted the world's supply of oil will no longer be able to meet demand in the years ahead. This is the first time any of the big oil giants have made such a sobering admission.
This weekend we bring you three articles about peak oil and the end of the oil economy. (Oil will run out, after all.) The first feature article answers the most common questions about peak oil, alternative energy sources and whether we might be saved by Canadian tar sands containing "heavy oil."
